Get the Help that You Need...

The Yarmouth Learning Network matches learners with trained tutors for free. All tutors are volunteers and each tutor-learner pair work together for a minimum of two hours per week. Some tutors are able to work for longer periods of time each week depending on the goals of the learner.   We work to find the best tutor to meet your needs.

Tutors meet with students in a library or other public place, such as the Learning Network facilities.  Both parties sign a contract agreeing to be on time for all lessons and to work together for six months. Tutors work the learner and assist them with reaching their goal - whether it is to achieve their GED, learn to read simple texts or improve their math skills.

If you are interested in getting a tutor for yourself or for someone you know, please  contact the Yarmouth County Learning Network at (902) 742-8151 or via Email.
